"The Knowingness"

"The Knowingness" A poem from an unedited page of my upcoming poetry book. (Edits made in caption for the sake of correcting it while its on my mind.) "The Knowingness" "I see more clearly with eyes closed. My heart knows more of what's unspoken. I hear, still though my ears could fail, for from within my words come chosen. These thoughts; not mine. They come, they go, with understandings ebbing, flowing. In times of doubt, with path unseen, my will, it still remains unbroken. Filled with gold, where rot once hollowed, the fractals vacant, in full restored. What fills this vessel now is light, for others making their way to shore. An innerstanding charts the course. My way unfolds with every moment. My destination, though yet lived, is cause enough for my devotion. For though unlived, visions confirm, I live it now through mirrored sources. The higher forms of me hold what I dream, should I remain in motion." — M.D. Sol
